Saturday

gThe conference opened in the morning with the formal AGM where participants were advised the successful progress and growth of Fountain with an ever expanding network of contacts and sufficient funds to enable continued operations. This was followed by a tribute to Peggy Bunt, a tireless Fountain supporter and former co-ordinator, who died in February.

Alan Peskett then treated the audience to recounts of some of his adventures in healing the landscape, including the unknowing use of TV network cables to carry healing and the odd disruption to programming. (There was some rumour that Alan was connected with the power cuts and blackouts going on in N.America and countries in Europe)

Ken Tebbutt asked if those present were Sophists and explained about Soph being the goddess of wisdom and Ai the male counterpart and detailed how humankind developed . He recounted tales of the application of wisdom or lack of and finally completed by reminding everyone that the loving oneself was the surest way of creating a wise and loving world. The lunchtime interval was followed by a tour round the Hospital. It must be the only hospital that requires residents to be fit and able to stay there.

gVeronica Hammond, an Arch Druid, from Gloucester launched the afternoon session describing the extent of training and roles undertaken by Druids in the course of their lives. She spoke of the year in Druidry and the ceremonies celebrated to mark important dates.

The final presentation came from Giles Bryant who uses song and music to raise awareness of the importance of respecting and loving the environment in which we live. His informal and humerous stlye enlivened the audience and raised the energies for the closing meditation led by Colin Bloy. The day concluded with dinner and weary delegates retire early ready for the following day.

Sunday

Contrary to the weather forecast, sunshine greeted the Sunday morning. A delay in departure enabled the local Warwick racecourse to become a focal point for Fountain energy and for others to take time to get to know one another better.

Gathering on Burton DassettThe first stop was at Burton Dassett, the centre of England. The sun shone and the views were magnificent not spoiled by a brisk breeze. As can be seen from the adjacent photo, Giles enjoyed his yoga whilst we were joined by some energetic cyclists!

The group gathered for a fountain meditation sending love and light out from the hill. Some took the opportunity to visit the nearby church.

We then moved on to the Rollright Stones and the adjacent megalithic sites.  Everyone was impressed with the energies withing the stones, with dowsing rods turning in all directions in tune to the energy lines.

megalithsA small exploration down the road produced some equally impressive megaliths with strong energy flows experienced around them.

Leaving the Rollright Stones the coach meandered it's way through the country side and made an impromptu stop at a garden centre offering tea, home made cakes and other services, much appreciated by all.

We arrived back at the blessed racecourse and said fond farewells, promising to meet again next year, to share our exploits.
