presentation to Mollie HegartyThis years get together was a sell out, with participants from all over the UK,

europe and South Africa. The AGM was followed by a presentation to Mollie Hegarty who is stepping back from her organising role within Fountain.

Giles Bryant, the principal organiser of this years event, and some friends then set the tone for the weekend with songs and OMs for all to join in.

The audience was then reminded of Colin Bloy and all his good work in the founding of Fountain and other aspects of his life in a tribute given by Mollie.

connecting with the earthAlan Peskett followed with a talk showing how simple, effective and powerful thoughts can be especially when the intent is loving.

During the breaks Graham Game gave practical guidance
and help on connecting with the earth. This occured in the adjacent garden / burial ground in the Friends Meeting House.

Alan Brown closed the morning session with a talk showing how sacred geometric forms and relationships were found in crop circle patterns and styles.Alan displayed slides moving from the five pointed female penagrams to complicated patterns where the number of standing sections and laid portions coincide with lunar and solar orbits and dimensions.alan brown

After the lunch interval Dee James encouraged some active participation of an aspect of the Metamorphique Technique and explained the origins of this method and how powerful and transforming such a simple technique could be when applied personally where it released fears and patterns and allowed development of potential.

Despite the disruption of recently being deluged in the Boscastle flooding
and losing most of the possessions from his shop, and a slide projector that had a mind of it's own, Paul Broadhurst, author of The Serpent and the Dragon, gave a very entertainng two part talk, covering aspects of the Michael Mary line from St. Michaels Mount in Cornwall, via Avebury and other sacred site including Royston and out to the coast near Great Yarmouth. Part two took us on a journey from an islet off the west coast of Ireland, visited on a foggy day and only found by standing on deck and dowsing the way! across europe with tales of synchronicity and coincidences to Jerusalem in the Holy land.

The formal events were closed by Joy Byner who led a Fountain meditation which concluded with the sending of love and light to all of creation.
the dinner
In the evening participants gathered at the nearby Eight Bells for a sit down meal and chat catching up with old friends and reviewing the days events.

It must be mentioned that the day was a great success thanks to the assistance of many willing hands, copious supplies of homemade produce including delicious warming soups and Giles managing of proceedings and his musical interludes where all were encouraged to join in.
