I am Teng, we are of a group soul. That group soul comprises how I am manifesting at this moment and when we manifest as Melchizadeck and as Hieron and other beings. There is a one-ness between ourselves and this our brother, but also with all of you in the sense that we feel a one-ness with all things and we feel love for all beings and rejoice in the love that we observe on your planet. I am manifesting to you this evening as the old, recognisable Teng. This is in a sense even more of an illusion than it was heretofore. But it illustrates a point. I am now able to manifest in a greater variety of ways than was the case heretofore. I can manifest as I MANIFEST NOW OR I CAN MANIFEST WITH A DIFFERENT VIBRATION. (Teng`s voice changes gradually, smoothly and markedly). I can change my vibration and become as one with a larger mind as I wish and as is the wish of that mind. And I can draw myself back once more into the being you call Teng with which you identify. (Teng`s voice gradually and smoothly returns). You are more than you think you are and I am more than I know I am! I do this little exercise, not to show off but to illustrate a principle and as a form of reassurance and help for this my brother, that he should be assured that I will manifest in any way that is appropriate, in whatever setting, where it is necessary for me, us, the being, call it what you will, to work with and through him in order to reach and to touch those who listen, those who wish to learn, those who wish to grow.
It is an advantage that there are now greater varieties of manners in which this can be done. Indeed, on occasions, it is done in such a way that those who listen are not aware that anything untoward is happening for we can now communicate as an essence which does not involve directly the words which are spoken simultaneously from the consciousness of this, our brother, and we will fill those words with certain energy patterns and fill the gaps between those words with certain energy constructs as to reach the very soul, the very centre, of the individual or group to whom or to which he is talking. And so we will grow together because we are all one and because we all ride on the Watercourse of Life to that Ocean of Infinity which we call ‘Home’.
You have heard about the tree of knowledge. That knowledge has been handed down throughout the centuries to mankind, and on occasion he has used that knowledge for his own ends, for the wrong motive. And he has planted a seed of knowledge based on greed and egotism. Thus it has become a matter of confusion, for there appear to be so many trees of knowledge. When the branches of these trees of knowledge are shaken and the leaves fall into the palms of your hands, examine the leaves. If the knowledge is Truth, then see the perfection of those leaves. If it is knowledge based on false doctrine and wrong motive, then see how the leaves wither, and become brown and fragile. See how they break into a thousand pieces under the pressure of your hand. Aspire, therefore, to the Highest Source of all Wisdom. Reach out as far as you are able, in order to bring yourselves into contact with the Finest Vibrations of Spirit, that you might learn from the Perfect Tree, Perfect Knowledge.
The knowledge is also within, undetected, unknown, unrecognised. Take yourselves also, therefore, within your Being, having raised your consciousness. Listen and observe and feel.
Be at One with yourself and with all things. For if All is One and Total and Complete, and if Perfect Knowledge is combined in the One, to become One means that you shall receive Perfect Knowledge.
With that Knowledge will come the Wisdom to interpret it. To put it into practice. With that Knowledge you can bring understanding to those who find it difficult to digest that which would be of benefit to them. Since you would already have become as One with them, then you would be able to share with them their fear and their confusion. But at the same time, since you would be as One with them, you would be able to share your Spiritual Love with them also.
What then, is Truth? In tackling this question, we are faced straightway with a paradox, and that paradox is that by using words to describe what is Truth, we limit Truth. The more words we use to establish the meaning of Truth, the more we put Truth into one compartment or another. Truth cannot be spoken adequately in physical words, for Truth is not of the Intellect. Truth is of the Universal Mind and of the Heart. Truth, in its totality, in its entirety, is the Divine Being. And yet dear friends, that Universal Mind is not only around you, inhabiting all things that live, move and have their being, but within you. The flame of Truth burns within the heart of each of you.
It therefore follows that, to discover Truth, you must look within. But, since the Universal Mind motivates all beings and all things, it is also true to say that to understand Truth we must look without as well. There is Truth, there are manifestations of Truth, there are aspects of Truth, and there are degrees of Truth. The total Truth, the Perfect Truth is unknowable, unspeakable. Total Truth IS, for Total Truth is the Divine Being.
We see manifestations of Truth, but these manifestations vary considerably in their purity. There are aspects of Truth also. In all good work throughout the world there are aspects of Truth, whether that Truth be Healing, Counselling, or Service in whatever way. But do not fall into the trap of separating your Spiritual lives from the material, for Truth is not confined to ‘Spirituality’. As you clean your dishes you can manifest Truth, for if you clean your dishes with Love, thinking to yourself who shall benefit from the cleaning thereof, than you manifest a certain degree of Truth.
It is said that Truth is here and now. To a degree, that is true-- and yet it is a limitation on Truth. You are Here. It is Now. There is such a thing as an Eternal Present. And yet that is not what Truth is all about. What you are Doing with this Here and Now is a manifestation, or otherwise, of an aspect of Truth. Consider what you held to be true ten years in the past. Consider what you think to be true now. Imagine what you might consider to be true ten years hence. They are not the same. Yet each is the Here and Now.
As through Meditation and through Service you gain Wisdom and Understanding, which comes from within and from without, the greater will be your appreciation of Truth.
Let us consider a modern day example. You doubtless have in your house a television set. If you knew nothing of television sets, you would call it a miracle. An Aborigine might so call it. You have seen a manifestation, and to you it is a miracle. If you then study the workings of the television set, you will see that the image on the screen is an illusion. You will see that the image is created by a complex arrangement of electronic devices which in turn respond to certain energies which pass through space, which in turn originate from a transmitter. As you grow in understanding, you appreciate a wider view. Truth is the Divine Being. Truth is that All Things are One. You BELEIVE that all things are one. When you EXPERIENCE that, you will KNOW it and the TRUTH will be embodied within you.
There is Truth and there is illusion, and doubtless you would ask: ‘How do we tell the difference between what is a manifestation of Truth and what is a manifestation of Illusion?’. We would reply that you cannot appreciate Light without walking in darkness. You cannot appreciate the warmth of the Sun without being soaked in a deluge of rain. You must experience manifestations not only of Truth, but also of Illusion as you progress along the journey through life. And as you progress, you learn. That learning becomes Wisdom and Understanding, and so, as time passes, you become more able to distinguish what is of Truth and what is Illusion.
In your meditations you can discover much in this respect. In your meditations you open yourselves not only to receive counsel from without, but wisdom from within, for the Flame of the Divine Being burns within each Being, and that Divine Being is Perfect and contains all Truth. It is a question of unveiling the Truth layer by layer as you might a parcel and strip away the layers of paper which conceal the Gem in the centre.
As we reach out to you with Love, we seek to show you a way. The Path is eternal and therefore the search for Truth is Eternal, and yet at each stage of understanding there is a thrill-- the eternal thrill of the Divine Journey along the Pathway of Light.
COMBATING EGO-DRIVEN FEAR, ANGER, THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS
When each of you says ‘I AM’ you make an affirmation which reflects the Divine Consciousness within you. And if you say ‘I AM the Light. I AM Love’, then you declare the content of your inner self, which is perfect, which is Divine, and which is Total Love. Also, we would say that as a man thinks, so he is. If you say: ‘I am depressed’, then so shall it be. If you say: ‘I am happy’, then equally, so it shall be. And this is important for each one of you, for positive affirmations, can heal ones own Spirit, Mind and Body. And if you encourage those with whom you come into contact to make positive affirmations, then it is easier for us to help them, and for them to help themselves to re-establish that harmony and that love within themselves that leads to understanding, to a state of Bliss and to a state of Grace.
These words, therefore, are of central importance and we would urge you with Love to consider them and take them within your Being and let them germinate there, so that the flower of understanding might open and display its glorious beauty.
Consider the subject of fear. When you are fearful, when you lack confidence, of whom do you think? Is it not so that you think of self? The ego always intrudes and creates fear. It eats away at confidence and at trust and faith. So there is the eternal struggle within, between the ego and the Divine Self, for the Divine Self wishes to reach forth in Unconditional and Total Love with no thought for its own Being, because it just IS. Yet always the ego protests. It comes forth with many thoughts. Thoughts which say; ‘I cannot do this for I will make a fool of myself`’. You worry about the image of yourselves which you present to the world. To each Being you show a different face, for the ego wishes to appear as it thinks others would wish to see it. So you change as the wind in Autumn from moment to moment. If you could give greater expression to the Divine Principle which lies within you and which burns within your Soul, then you would show the same face to the entire world. You would treat all as equal. You would shirk no task, for no task would be seen as too difficult or too demanding. Fearless would you walk the highways and byways of physical existence, giving forth your Love in all directions. You would find it impossible for any Being or any circumstance to inflict hurt upon you, for how can another Being inflict hurt upon you if you think not of self? You would be able to extend Love so strong that slings and arrows would have no effect or impression upon you.
It is impossible to cause the ego to disappear. It is counter-productive to fight against the ego, to try to do this or to do that with the ego, for the ego is as vital to your Being as the food you eat or the water you drink or the air you breathe. Your ego is your identification as an individualised form of Spirit. Without it you could not function in the material world. Man becomes confused by the idea of the ego. There is ego and there is egotism. Egotism is the misuse of the neutral power of the ego.
Whenever you are angered by another Soul, whenever you feel tormented or degraded by another Soul, you give in to egotism, for your individuality and self-esteem is affronted and you do not like it. It is difficult, we know, for you to look with Total Love and Total Understanding at another Soul who persecutes you. It is one thing to say with the mind ; ‘That Soul is troubled. That Soul must work out its own difficulties and problems. That Soul is the same as me’. It is much more difficult to Feel this; to Know it from the heart. In truth, if you were able to accomplish this all of the time, you would have no need of Earthly incarnation for you would have passed the point where it would be useful to you. It is so futile, is it not, for you to inflict pain upon yourselves through what others have said to you, for oft times those other Souls are blissfully unaware of how you suffer. Those Souls walk in their own darkness.
As you grow in the Light, increasingly will you be able to bathe all Souls in its radiance irrespective of their attitude towards you. Consider in your minds, my friends, how would it be if all Souls on this Earth were to do this? Consider what a paradise the Earth would be. Consider the joy and harmony which would exist. Consider how all the problems of the world would disappear.
This is the ultimate goal towards which you strive. The time is afar off for there is much work to be done by every Soul who walks this Earth. Progress is slow but sure, the direction ever upward, but in the eye of your mind always hold this ideal, for as you concentrate upon it, meditate upon it and take it into your hearts, so you will begin in some measure to emulate it and you will be better equipped to carry out the tasks which are required of you.
Consider your fears of today. How will you see them in years to come? Will you not look back upon them and smile, recognising that there was no foundation for that fear, that concern? For, even being fearful, you are guided. Fear. That canker within the Soul that tends to despoil it so. It is the overcoming of fear that leads to Enlightenment, for if you are fearful for yourselves, or even fearful for others, do you not limit the Power of the Creator of All Life? Do you not limit the Divine and Perfect Operation of the Natural Law? Are you not saying that the Natural Law is imperfect? Are you not saying this with your fears? It is too much to expect that you should be constantly without fear, yet we would urge you towards that end.
In days gone by, on the waters of the lake, there was One who calmed the sea. Those with him were afraid. Also there was One who summoned another to cross the surface of the water towards Him and, full of faith and trust, that other did so until the element of fear intruded and he sank through the waters. Trust always, Dear Friends, in the Power of Love, the Power of Truth and the Power of Light, no matter how hard the winds might blow, how high the waves, how heavy the rain. For every storm has a beginning and that which has a beginning must have an end.
Even though you be cast into the deep and drown-- still do you not live?
Before every action there is thought. Let your thought translate into positive action, leading to positive reaction. Your thought-- others reaction. Action and Reaction-- the Law of Karma. The Law of Cause and Effect. Positive thoughts and thoughts of Perfection bring the reaction of a greater degree of Perfection. Consider not therefore your own self. Consider the world in its sorrow and its pain. Reach out equally to all men and women. Extend to them your Love.
There are divers kinds of Souls upon your Earth, some with whom your auras easily combine, others with whom your auras contrast and conflict. But your aura is a reflection of your reaction at any one time as well as a reflection of your state of progression, and since Love is Total and Absolute and Perfect, the degree of Love contained within your aura will increase the possibility of its integration with all other auras with whom it comes into contact, so there shall be no conflict.
It is difficult to like all people, yet, should you come across a Soul from whom you might recoil, who overwhelms you or frightens you, who annoys you or irritates you, seek in the quietness of meditation the answer within your own Being. Seek of the ego the message that it gives. Seek of your lower self and ask it why and listen to the answer. This is a hard thing to ask, for few enjoy to hear what the ego has to say. Yet only by facing the words which it speaks can the ego be integrated into the Divine Flame.
Lift up your hearts, therefore, upon these thoughts. Fear not that you are not perfect, or that you cannot achieve what you wish to achieve. For all happens in accordance with Natural Law and in due course of time. Every life has its reason, every season has its purpose, every happening has its explanation.
Lift up your hearts, therefore, dear friends, and glory in the splendour of the Light of Creation. Darkness is an illusion. It is blindness. It is lack of understanding. Open the door and let the Light stream through. Live in Radiance. Live in Love. Trust and fear not.
