Fountain started because a number of like minded individuals wanted to do something about the reoccuring fighting between Mods and Rockers, the crime and violence and the lack of civic awareness and response. Over 70 people collected at the Old Steine's fountain in Brighton, from where Fountain derived its name. This gathering is now called the Brighton Experiment (Operation Survival). It was a success in several ways (see Benefits of Fountain's Work page).

The Brighton Experiment was beneficially repeated elsewhere and Fountain was launched To Enable Others To Heal Their Own Communities, Nations, Planet and All There Is.. It is based upon the idea of loving thoughts, and it works.
