Beacon of Light Project

An exercise conducted during a course I ran, training people in the skills of dowsing, caused me to stop and think about the ability to generate positive energy. My intuition, or inner consciousness, then brought me to develop this project. The exercise involved course members charging pebbles with energy by holding them while meditating with this intent. Laying all the pebbles in a straight line created a dowsable line of energy. The proof this gave, to the contention that we can, by intent, create a residual energy charge, made me consider all the information I have gathered and the inherent possibilities. Since then my intuition has been pushing me, not just to think but to act.

My first information practically and theoretically, was that Ley Lines, particularly as mapped in England, link places of worship, either to other places of worship, or places of population. Lines can also be dowsed along pilgrim trails throughout Europe. Because Christian places of worship were frequently established upon the shrines of older religions these "ley" tracks are thousands of years old. They were clearly established by the energy created by the intent of the worshippers, especially as they passed along the tracks and many lines still retain a positive beneficial charge. The power of the energy created in worship has also caused beneficial energy lines to form links between major centers of worship, not only the ancient centers, such as Stonehenge and Glastonbury but also between more modern Christian Churches. At many of these centres it is also possible to dowse positive energy structures, such as sacred spirals, formed from religious intent.

Recently the Adelaide Fountain Group sought to establish a beneficial lift in the energies over Adelaide starting by focusing on a sacred site in Victoria Square. The intention was to use this as a focus, linking out to problem areas to create change. Their work was developed from the original Fountain Group, based in Brighton, England, whose work had created a reduction in violence. The effects of that work are properly researched and documented.

The Adelaide Fountain Group was founded by Roger Brown, who has,unfortunately, now passed over to spirit. This group worked tirelessly, to create community healing, through the use of visualisation techniques to generate positive energy flows in Adelaide. I had contact with this group, especially through my wife, Lis, who was a committee member of Fountain. I am eternally grateful to Roger, a friend of ours, for both his unconditional commitment to helping others and for teaching me how to dowse.
All of the above knowledge added to the findings that came from my dowsing course. Intuitively I was then pushed into considering the potential to use this as a way to spread positive energy over a broad area creating beneficial energy changes to help counter negativity, lift spirits and provide an impetus for change. The idea grew in my mind, from the depths of my consciousness, that we could, by intent, activate beacons of light to link to Spirit, God, the Creator. To do this would require an activity to link with spirit, a prayer, meditation and closing dedication performed in a group setting with the intent to form the beacons. The words have now been written down, handed to me, if you will, from a higher source. Intuitively it also became obvious that for the beneficial effects to be generated several beacons needed to be activated at once. Indeed it is clear that the effects could be magnified enormously if a number of beacons were created simultaneously, at key spots throughout Adelaide. The act of creating the beacons will cause a resonance linking them together to form a latticework of positive energy lines across the City. This linkage would also occur because of the the intent of those involved in the activity, acting in combination with the natural pull of the energy forces. My intuition backed by the exercises on my course, the history of "Leys" and the work of the Fountain Group shows that this will create a change in the energies of our city, a major improvement leading to positive change throughout Adelaide.

I have already received the agreement of one organisation to participate in this project and have a commitment from many to be involved and to help. To achieve full success will require the support of others across Metropolitan Adelaide. I seek the involvement of religious and spiritual churches or groups across all belief systems and denominations. I would ask you to look at this concept with an open heart, mind and spirit. Please consider the benefits of a broad range of beliefs joining together in a spiritual activity to create such change.The more that join in the greater the the size and frequency of the energy lines in the latticework. Focuses based upon centers of worship, which will all have their own sacred energy, would add extra strength to the beacons that are formed. I am also aware that if the initial Lattice is strong others can link to it at a later date, by creating their own beacons. For now, only Adelaide, once the project is going other places can join place by place keeping the idea simple.

It is intended to undertake this on a Sunday in late November, just before the change in seasons, say the 28th November 2005. Conceptually this is not a long exercise, a two minute prayer leading to a ten minute meditation followed by a short closing prayer/dedication. Starting at 11.00 a.m. in the morning it should be over by 11.20 a.m. The wording of the prayer, meditation and dedication would have to be essentially the same, adjusted maybe only to provide for any differences in the concepts of belief.
